SAHIC Awards 2011
The SAHIC AWARDS have been instituted to acknowledge outstanding contributions to the Hospitality Industry in the South American Region.
On 2011, the categories were these:

• Tourism Promotion
• Special Recognition
SAHIC 2011 AWARDS WINNERS:
• Hotel Developer or Investor: To the Visionary and Businessman that year after year continues to bet on new challenges in the region, either in connection with the development of new investments or the recovery, improvement or upgrade of major existing projects. WINNER: Javier Faus
• Tourism Promotion: For having carried out an outstanding tourism promotional campaign which proved to be of great success for its creativity, clearly defined objectives and impressive results. WINNER: Argentine Ministry of Tourism
• Special Recognition: Our recognition for the strength of the Chilean people and its Government who skillfully overcame extremely difficult situations, giving proof of a solid Nation that continues growing in the face of adversity. WINNER: Government of Chile
