Bárbara Galbis Urrechea -

Barbara is original from Spain, she graduated from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in Technical Architecture. She holds an AMP from IESE Business School and carried out the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School.
She started out her career in Madrid in 1997 in ACS (nowadays the larger Construction company worldwide). From 2000 to 2003 she worked as Technical Department Director in Arpada (Real Estate and Construction Company) building houses, condos and nursing homes. She moved to work at Bovis Lend Lease (Project Management Company) in a Project Manager role, where she carried out several singular projects up to more than 400Mn Euros in retail, sports complex (Real Madrid Sports City), office headquarters (Abengoa and Banco Popular HQs) and amusement parks (Micropolix).
She moved to Lima in 2013 with her husband and four kids, and joined Centenario Group as COO, where she is responsible for investment, design, construction and project management for the different business units’ developments. Centenario is the largest Real Estate and Property Management Company in Peru with more than USD1,6Bn in assets under management, and more than USD200Mn in revenues. The Group holds a diverse portfolio throughout their business units: offices, urban development, shopping malls and industrial land.
In 2015 Centenario, following the strategy based on diversification of its portfolio, created a joint-venture with Agrisal Group to develop their new Hotel Division, where she is Member of the Board (Executive Director). Today the JV has 2 hotels in operation and 3 under development in Peru, under IHG brand.
