Craig Mueller- Vice President Development, The Americas, IHG
Craig is responsible for leading the development of new-build and conversion hotels for IHG’s luxury and upscale brands in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, and he also spearheads management contract negotiations for all IHG brands in the Americas region.
Additionally, he oversees the development efforts for all IHG brands in Latin America as well as the InterContinental brand in Mexico. With a career spanning over 30 years, Craig has held various hospitality real estate investment leadership positions.
As Vice President and Principal of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments’ hotel division, his responsibilities included hotel asset management, acquisitions, and disposition functions for its hotel portfolio, valued at $1 billion. At Deloitte & Touche in Atlanta, Craig managed the firm’s hospitality real estate consulting practice.
During his tenure with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, he served as Director and Assistant Vice President of development.
A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Craig spends his personal time on the golf course, gathering with his family, and cherishing every moment as a new grandfather.
