Cristiano Gonçalves is Vice President of Development for South America and the Caribbean at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he leads the expansion of Hyatt’s brands across the region and strengthens strategic owner relationships.

With more than two decades of experience in hospitality and real estate development, Cristiano has held senior leadership roles at Hyatt, IHG, Hilton, and Accor. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in signing over 130 hotel projects across Latin America, structuring franchise, management, and lease agreements, and driving market expansion strategies in diverse and complex markets.

Cristiano holds an International Executive MBA from FIA/USP and completed advanced hotel management studies at École Hôtelière de Lausanne.
