Diana Plazas-Trowbridge

Diana is responsible for topline revenue across the region for all brands, which includes responsibility and oversight of all aspects of Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management. She ensures that the strategic priorities of each discipline are designed and executed to achieve the region’s sales, market share, and competitive position in the marketplace. In addition, Diana also partners with Brand and Global Discipline Leaders on key initiatives and priorities. Her oversight includes Brand, Loyalty & Portfolio, in addition to the CALA Marketing, Revenue Management and Sales + Distribution organizations. 

Since joining Marriott in 2015, as Vice President, Brand, Marketing & Digital for CALA, Diana has led the Field Marketing & Digital organization. In 2018, she stood up a new Owner and Franchise Relations organization designed to support franchisees and their hotels across the region. Her efforts have led to stronger results throughout the franchise portfolio in several important metrics as well as strengthened relationships.

A native of Cali, Colombia, Diana earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Georgetown University and an Executive MBA from Florida International University.
