Juan Camilo is Head of Development at GHL, where he leads business development and investment strategy, supporting the company’s growth and expansion across Latin America’s hospitality sector. With over three years of experience in the hospitality industry, he focuses on identifying, structuring, and executing high-impact development and investment opportunities.

He has more than 14 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and investment banking, with a proven track record across Latin America. Throughout his career, he has led strategy and execution for over USD 250 million in private investments and participated in mergers and acquisitions transactions totaling approximately USD 1 billion.

Juan has extensive experience working with high-growth companies, having invested in more than five early-stage startups across multiple industries. He previously led the investment strategy at a leading proptech startup focused on building the largest digital residential housing platform in Latin America.

He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and dual undergraduate degrees in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Universidad de los Andes.
