Leo Ghitis was born in Colombia in 1958. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated with a B.S. with the highest honors from Georgia Tech.

He has over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and development.

Prior to starting Nayara Resorts, Leo was a senior partner at Trammell Crow Company (now CBRE) in charge of South Florida. In 1993 Leo started Ghitis Property Company (GPC) today is one of the most active real estate companies operating along the east coast of the US.

Leo has played a pivotal role in the formation, growth, and successful development of major companies related to finance, consumer products, and hospitality.

Leo has been a partner and co-founder of Nayara Resorts, raising the recognition of the brand internationally, with the highest standards of quality and service in the luxury travel segment.

Today, he leads Nayara Resorts including the expansion of the brand worldwide, being an ambassador of sustainable and regenerative tourism, with a focus on unique destinations that offer extraordinary experiences
