With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Paula Muniz is known for her expertise in hotel operations, development, and real estate. She recently joined Banyan Group as Senior Development Director, responsible for expanding the company’s presence in South America.

Paula began her career in Sales and Marketing and has since held various leadership positions at renowned companies such as Hilton Worldwide, IHG, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Melia Hotels. In 2008, she transitioned to Real Estate/Hotel Development, always acting in South America Region with a big focus on the Southern Cone.

Her academic credentials include a degree in Foreign Commerce and Business Administration from Metodista University in São Paulo, a certification in Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University, and an Executive International MBA from FIA. Paula is also certified as Board Member Advisor, further enhancing her leadership capabilities. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, where she addresses topics such as innovation in hospitality, real estate investment strategies, and the current investment environment in the region. Paula is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
