Paulo Mancio is the newly appointed Vice President of Business Development for Brazil at Marriott International, where he spearheads the strategic expansion of the company’s extensive brand portfolio.
A veteran of the hospitality and real estate sectors, Mr. Mancio brings decades of leadership experience to the global giant, joining CBRE, where he served as Managing Director of Hospitality. His distinguished career includes a landmark 21-year tenure at Accor, culminating as Chief D&TS Officer for the Americas, as well as international experience with DAMAC Properties in Dubai.
Mr. Mancio holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Mauá Institute of Technology, a CEAG in Business Administration from FGV, and specialized certification in Hotel Project & Construction from California State University, Chico. Beyond his executive roles, he contributes to academia as a Postgraduate Professor in Real Estate Management and Hospitality at Florida International University (FIU). Renowned for his deep market insight and execution capability, Mr. Mancio is now tasked with driving Marriott’s growth in the Brazilian market, including the strategic rollout of the City Express brand.
