Rogerio Basso is a Principal at Impactum Capital Advisors, a boutique investment banking and advisory platform specializing in the hospitality and tourism sectors across Latin America and the Caribbean. The firm structures and sources debt and equity solutions for institutional-grade tourism and real estate projects, while also providing strategic guidance aligned with ESG-driven impact-investing principles.

A seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience, Rogerio brings deep expertise across banking, development finance, and strategy consulting within the real estate and hospitality sectors. Before Impactum, he served as Head of Tourism for IDB Invest, the private-sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank Group, where he strengthened the institution’s tourism vertical and advanced its positioning as a driver of sustainable economic growth in the region. His prior experience includes senior investment roles at Key International and Terranum Hotels (dba Decameron Hotels), as well as more than a decade at Ernst & Young in Miami, leading the firm’s real estate and hospitality advisory practice in Latin America.

Rogerio holds a BBA from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. A multilingual professional, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with working knowledge of French.
